11 months!!

Here are a few outtakes from our 11 month photo session - it is HARD to get Austin to sit still!!

Another month flew by....and I'm over a week late writing down everything. Life is just going TOO FAST!!

Austin Thomas, how are you 11 months old already? Say it isn't so!

Once again, no official height and weight stats this month as we don't have a dr.'s appointment until next month. But, surprise, surprise, you are still tall and skinny. Your legs have thickened up a little bit, but overall you are a tall, thin little guy.
Dinner at Pei Wei
You either wear a size 3 or size 4 diaper depending on the brand and you're pretty much in 12 month clothes. Some things are still 9 month and some pjs are 12-18month. Baby clothes sizes are so inconsistent between brands!!

You are still so much fun and all smiles (most of the time - we all have our grumpy moments). You've started pushing your walker toy all around the house. Just within the last two weeks you've gotten really fast and speed all over the place with it.
Hanging with Sofia
You also love to sit and play with your big blocks and you still like to push boxes around the house. You can crawl up the stairs at an alarmingly fast rate and you pull up on everything. Babyproofing has been in full swing. We finally installed the baby gate at the bottom of the stairs and are slowly having to take all of our "accessories" off of the tables where you can reach them.

You are also quite the little dancer. Whenever you hear music you shake your head and bounce your little body up and down. It's pretty cute!

You also learned to give kisses this month - they are slobbery, but I LOVE them! You also give the sweetest little hugs. You relax both of your arms by your side and kind of tuck them into us for hugs. No squeezing.
Texas Cousins
We are still trying to coach Dexter into adoring you. He tolerates you and loves you when you are eating, but pretty much tries to run when he sees you coming. You, however, do adore him. You chase him all around and try to give him sweet kisses on his face.
Breakfast in El Centro with Cousin Riley
Your schedule is pretty much the same. Up around 7am, nap at 9:30 or so, nap again around 1:30 or 2, then to bed between 7 and 7:30. You get a bottle when you wake up at 7, one in the middle of the day around 1 and your last one before bed at 7. Then you eat breakfast around 8, lunch around 11:30/12 and dinner around 5.
We also had a busy month toting you all over the place and you adjusted really well - you are a good sport! Mom and Dad went on our 5 year anniversary trip to Lake Tahoe and you stayed with Grandma and Grandpa. They took you out to El Centro for the weekend to visit Uncle Chris, Aunt Steph and Cousin Riley. There you experience your first major earthquake! Thankfully everyone was ok, but it sounded like a wild ride. Pretty sure you had no idea!
We also spent Labor Day weekend at Canyon Lake the very next weekend...then 3 days later hopped on a plane and flew to Texas for a work trip for me! So lots of cities and beds and time zones and you did great (again..mostly...we had a few minor meltdowns).

You are just growing up so fast -- next post will be 1 year! Crazy!
